For decenniums, the US Government has had a classified “Black Ops” program to look into the most probable scenarios based on what they know about 2012. Actually, the US government spend 0′s of billions of tax payers money on it annually. Lately, the US government fed all the available data into a sophisticated computer model, designed to valuate the most likely effects to occurr in the 2012 timeframe.

The sum of information compiled was Astronomical – over 12,346 TB of information.

The U.S. Library of Congress itself has only collected about 100 terabytes as of May 2009, so think of more 123 Libraries of Congress stacked up, and you’d have an idea of just how much information this actually is!

US Government used then sifted through all of the information and assigned probability values to each scenario, to find out the outcomes that were most likely to take place.

Think of it as a giant sifting machine that orders all the possible events into various categories, and assigns them “threat levels”.

All kinds of government entities participated in the program? NASA, CIA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the National Intelligence Council, the Military, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and many different underground organizations from around the world.

What kinds of information was examined? Earth changes, natural calamities, solar and orbit influences on Earth’s climate and weather, human consciousness, the evolution of warfare and battles around the world, disease and pandemics, quantum theory, you name it, it’s in there.

Even the Maya’s predicted 21 december 2012 to be the end of the world.

Nostradamus and other prophets throughout history have foreseen events with remarkable accuracy, hundreds and even thousands of years in advance.

The clues are all there.

We’ve witnessed pandemic outbreaks before. We know the H1N1 “swine flu” virus could mutate into something much worse. If not H1N1, then perhaps a drug-resistant strain of bacteria. We’ve known about these so-called “superbugs” for a long time.

What is the government trying to hide?

2012: Is it Possible?

Much attention is being given to the Mayan prophesy of the end of the world as we know it in 2012. Many Christians are re-reading their bibles to compare the predictions, and current events to the book of Revelation and other prophetic passages.

What is the truth?

The movie 2012 was based on this prediction and, while very imaginative and with spectacular special effects, is wildly speculative about what will happen. The Mayans

divided the history of the world into cycles of approximately 5125 years each. The last cycle, or long count began on 11 August, 3114 BCE.

This would all be so much speculation except for a number of things that seem to come together at the same time.

The 11 year sunspot cycle, which amateur radio operators like myself love for worldwide communications, but which disrupts satelite and TV communications, has its next maximum close to this date.

The Mayans were also excellent astronomers and accurately predicted a very special event  for our solar system that only occurs every 26,000 years. As the sun orbits the center of the Milky Way galaxy it oscillates up and down through the ‘galactic plane’,much like a porpose. In 2012 our sun and solar system will be lined up with the center of the galaxy.

While reading the book of Revelations I noticed a passage I have mulled over many times, considering what it could mean. Revelation chapter 21, verse 1 says, “And I saw a new Heaven and a new Earth, for the first heaven and the first earth has passed away.” By emerging on a different side of the galaxy, we would have a “symbolic” new heaven in the same way we have a new year just after the winter solstice .

Another reason for taking the Mayan seriously is that the last catastrophic event, according to their calendar, was around 5123 years ago. Is it just coincidence that the flood of Noah was close to this time also according to the Bible?

A high altitude glacier in the Andes is retreating and an archeologist made a startling discovery while examining plants that had been trapped under the glacier when it formed. Apparently the glacier formed around 5200 years ago, suggesting a world-wide catastrophe of some sort.

It is strange that the Mayans predicted this precise event hundreds of years ago, without the modern instruments we depend on today.

Another possibility is that the earth’s magnetic field is about to reverse. This has happened many times in the past according to geologic records. Evidence is mounting that it is about to happen again. It is very disturbing that in the last 100 years, the earth’s magnetic field has decreased 30%. No one knows for sure what the effect would be.

We also have another possibility that is overdue according to geologic evidence. That is the Yellowstone super volcano threat. With eruptions happening, on average, every 600,000 years, and the last one being 640,000 years ago, it can happen tomorrow, or not for another 50,000 years. This one event would meet all the descriptions in the Old Testament and New Testament of events in the “last days”.

The bible predicts that there will be a time such as has not occurred since the ‘foundation of the world’ in the last days. All of these events could qualify for that title.

All of these threats make it hard to say that 2012 is impossible and that it couldn’t happen.

While there have been many times that some have pointed to and said “We are in the last days”, and been wrong, it is not impossible that something catastrophic could happen in 2012. Maybe it is all just a media blitz and speculation. Maybe not.

Lots of people are under the impression that the end of the world will occur in 2012. Will it? What will really occur if this happens though? There’s debate on a lot of this. The destruction of the earth by a celestial body is one of these theories. This could be a so-called black hole coming too near our solar system. Yet others believe that the so-called Planet X called Nibiru will make a retuen after a long orbital path around the sun. They reckon that this Planet X will be passing so close to our own planet that its gravitational pull will cause all the damage.

An asteroid slamming into the earth is another theory. But scientists have stated that there are no known asteroids heading for earth in that time frame. An asteroid will pass “close” to the earth, but the definition of close, in this case, is about 18 times the distance from earth to the moon. While that’s close in astronomical terms, it’s not close enough to cause us any problems.

Another theory is a massive solar flare causing a geomagnetic reversal event. The effect that this reversal will have is changing the polarity of the earth’s poles, therefore causing massive natural disasters.

Many sites have appeared on the internet offering theories, advice and info on the phenomenon that is 2012, but only one has masses of information on the subject. This site features reports on the truth about the various disasters that will strike earth, including a full 360 degree look at 2012. The site offers a fascinating insight, whether you are an expert or are just finding out about this subject for the first time.

I found an article in the NASA website stating: “Mysterious Ribbon at Edge of solar System is Changing” September 2010. the background music is Full Moon Night, by Anugama. the Solar wind creates a bubble around the entire Solar System called the Heliosphere which protects all our planets from the harshness of outer galactic space (like the Magnetosphere around the Earth that keeps harmful Solar wind from burning us up). but this bubble has been breached! that is a concern especially as we get close to the infamous December of 2012. the Heliosphere keeps away all the junk from outer space, that is why our immediate space is relatively clear from debris that could collide with us. Space is such an amazing entity full of things with incredible distances between things that define what Time and Space are (the bigger the distances the longer the time interval and age of our Universe). Is it the beginning of a New Age form of ascension or a Doomsday Armageddon end? Heralded by some as the coming of a rebirth of a new consciousness and by others as the harbinger of chaos and death. Is it prophesy or hype?

Which is it? As the year 2012 approaches, the media will surely blow the trumpets of alarm.  I remember the trumpets blaring with the coming of the year 2000, the turn of the century into a new millennium.  Do you remember the Y2K frenzy?

The potential for a complete breakdown of civilization hung on our ability to reprogram all the computers of the world to accept four simple digits – 2000.  Well, we did it.  Is this new threat of the same kind?  Can we fix it?

As you can guess this is different.  Different because it is of no human man-made substance or hold in your hands data.  It is the product of prophecy and of interpretation.  It is different because it threatens not only our lifestyle, but also life itself.

If it is the coming of new consciousness, then it may only threaten our style of life, our daily comings and goings, our relationships with our families and neighbors.  It may threaten our political behavior and our international behavior.  I say threaten because a new consciousness implies a new way of thinking, an ascension of sorts.  It implies change from the way we are now.  Change is always a threat to us.

If it is doomsday that we face, then surely it threatens life itself. Those that see this future event as catastrophic, see it as a global event.  They see it as an event that will shake the world, one that will affect all of humanity.  That is certainly change.  Could it be an event of annihilation, one that wipes out humanity? Some find such a prediction to be an insult to the Divine.  Nevertheless, believers of many faiths and non-believers, as well, hold that somber belief in Armageddon.

The specific date that is the focus of this prophecy is December 21, 2012, the winter solstice.  That year will be a leap year.  In the United States, it is a presidential election year. There will be a summer Olympics in London.  In that year, American military presence in the Republic of Korea will end.

Focus on December21 stems from the interpretation of the Mayan calendar.  On that day, the Mayan calendar records the end of what the Mayans call the long cycle.  It is the 13th long cycle since the beginning of creation according to Mayan history.

Before we dismiss, these predictions of a new consciousness or total devastation we should take note that there are notable and respected scientists that are doing serious research and study of the Mayan predictions.  Some scientists note that it is in the year 2012 that the Sun will emit intense solar activity that could have cataclysmic consequences for the earth.

Could it be that indeed both a new consciousness and catastrophic event will be the legacy of 2012?  I would think that a worldwide catastrophic event would indeed elevate humanity’s consciousness. Humankind would be forced to ignore the mundane and pray for the divine.

Perhaps it is just another Y2K media phenomenon, but then again maybe not.

Do you know that your world is going to finish in the final analysis of 2012? The 2012 end of the Earth is what is thought to be the last year of living beings on this planet. It’s no doubt a word of caution for us as the 2012 is round the corner. If the 2012 end of the world is going to happen then we have reached at the verge of destruction as it is going to happen at the end of really next year. It is simply a matter of few months or so and you will be right in front of a mega disaster. It still is under discussion that whether it is going to occur or not in the 2012. But even then it is a word of caution for us.

There are some supporting evidences in favour of this event which are showing the indicators of such an enormous disaster on the face of earth. The evidences are proving the whole face of the earth is going to change after that event and it is also possible that we might not be able to see pour earth revolving round the sun again.

Some of the scientists and some astronomers have already started caution the people about the signs that are appearing on the horizon so quickly. It is assumed by many geologists, historians and astronomers the December 21st will be a day with chance to do mega elimination. The 2012 end of the world looks very much realistic when we look at the evidences provided by these scientists. It appear to be occuring pretty shortly when we consider the prediction of these folk as there’s some sort of logic and scientific explanation linked with the event.

It’s still a prophecy just like many prophecies manufactured by space scientists before but still is a word of caution for us. We need to keep a watch on the changes taking place around our planet as well around ourselves. We should hope that it must not happen with our world in 2012.
